Bobby Abreu will resign with the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, in a year deal worth 19$ Million for 2 years. He does have a $9 Million option for 2012, and a $1 Million buyout of that option. Considering the patience Abreu brought to this lineup, this was a no-doubter.

I’m Fishing Up To Boston
Jeremy Hermida from the Florida Marlins has been traded to the Boston Red Sox in exchange for Jose Aceves and Hunter Jones. I personally like what Theo Epstein is doing, he is placing a young prospect in a veteran clubhouse and a hitter-friendly ballpark to see if he begins to have success at Major League level.
The Chicago White Sox have opted out of Jermaine Dye’s contract, and have completed a deal for outfielder Mark Teahen.
The deal is official, according to a Royals press release. The Royals acquired Getz and Fields for Teahen and cash considerations.
Arrrg-kinori Iwamura
The Pirates have acquired 2nd baseman Akinori Iwamura from the Rays in exchange of young pitcher Jesse Chavez, straight up. Iwamura is owed $4.85 Million and is soon to get a raise in arbitration.
